The Baltimore Restaurant Relief Fund. The Support That Our Community Needs Now…
As we know the restaurant industry around the country is in a dire situation and many people are uncertain how they will get back on their feet and pay for their next meal or rent. We know that just here in Baltimore thousands of people are affected or have been laid-off in the hospitality, restaurant, and beverage industry due to the COVID-19. In response to this crisis, The Baltimore Restaurant Relief Group was formed on Facebook to galvanize and create a resource for industry workers, operators, and owners to get answers, ask questions, and have a sense of community in this dire time.
We have now formed an official 501c3 organization to raise money and execute our vision to provide the following for this Baltimore area restaurant community…
Provide immediate financial assistance for laid-off hospitality workers through micro-grants.
Provide grant assistance to restaurant owners who may need help beyond loans in restarting their business.
Provide and coordinate food and supplies drops for unemployed industry workers during times of crisis.
Provide financial assistance for medical and mental health services for laid-off hospitality workers.
Please consider donating to this important cause and support the community gathering places and cultural fabric that the restaurants, venues, caterers, bartenders, servers, chefs, and line cooks provide for the Baltimore community.
